Four rooms (two double and two twins) , with en suite private bathroom, a vast living and dining area with an amicable iron stove, a very well-equipped traditional Portuguese kitchen, and an attractive vine covered terrace complete the character of this beloved ancestral home, standing graciously amidst this picturesque village.
A private outer space in front of the house is ideal to read a book, enjoy a relaxed meal, or just watch the village’s daily movements, under the grapevine shade. Walking, cycling, bird watching, hunting, horse riding, and fishing, are some among the varied leisure activities available.
Pleasingly close to hand, restaurants, cafés and the local grocer’s shop in the centre of the Soajo village can be easily reached on foot. Besides, a wider variety of shops, cafés and restaurants may be found in the historic villages of Ponte de Lima and Ponte da Barca, which are only a few minutes drive.
